“Women Marry Whom They Want, Men Marry Whom They Can”: How To Perceive These Words?

There is a lot of debate surrounding why women marry the first best man they meet. Some say it’s because women are desperate and want to get married as soon as possible. Others argue that women have always been raised to think they are nothing without a man, so they settle for whoever comes along.

However, I believe that things have changed dramatically in recent years. Women today know their worth and aren’t willing to pay for anything less than they deserve.

Once I came across a post where a man wrote that women marry the first best man. Women don’t choose and don’t wait long because they want to get married.

I don’t know who you are, but I want to deny you!

Previously, women were raised to think we are nothing without a man. A woman should stay at home and do her work. But! Even back then, women had a long list of suitors!

Nowadays, women are raising their standards! We understand our needs better, know what we want, and do everything we can to find the perfect man for us. With this in mind, many women choose to be single rather than settle for a monkey who can’t tell the difference between love and slavery.

So, no, we don’t marry the first best man we meet. We wait, and we select wisely. Because at the end of the day, we want to be with someone who loves and respects us for who we are, not someone who sees us as a trophy or an object.

We want a partnership, not a dictatorship. And so, we will continue to wait until we find the man who meets all of our criteria. There are plenty of single women out there who are happy and content with their lives. They aren’t desperate to get married but aren’t afraid of commitment.

I think the time of forced marriages has long passed. And women have become entirely independent and do not need a man behind whom they will be “like behind a stone wall.” Accordingly, they also do not need to agree to less.

But men… It’s more difficult for them now. They can marry only when the woman is ready and can reciprocate. And this, in turn, increases the chances that a man will be left without a family. And he will have to reconcile that now he is not needed as much as before.

In addition, men are also afraid to commit. Because if it doesn’t work out, they will again be alone. So both men and women are fearful of commitment. But women are ready to take this risk more often.

When a woman refuses a man, many times (but not always), he will take it offensively. His arrogance leads him to believe that just because he wants the woman, she should be lucky enough to be chosen by him.

It hurts his pride when he realizes that a woman’s thoughts don’t revolve around him and his needs. So he tells himself she’s a silly girl who doesn’t know what she wants and will eventually come crawling back to him.

It’s always an eye-opener to see the reaction of a man when you turn him down. It feels like a personal attack against all men. Or is it just me? Have you ever been insulted or poorly treated by a guy because you said no to his advances?
