Marry Mother: What Does Everyone Need From A Relationship?

Marry Mom. It sounds like a strange thing to say, but it’s very logical. Boys looking for wives like their mother? Yes. Girls looking for husbands like dad? Alas, no. Girls are looking for husbands like their mothers.

The more perfect your dad was, the harder it was for you to find a good husband. Most will lose to the ideal man who was the first to kiss your arms and legs.

However, most women grew up without a strong father. The mother, motivated by the desire to provide a decent standard of living and fulfill the demands of two roles, could not give her child everything they wanted from a mother. And unfulfilled wants do not evaporate or dissipate as they grow older. They continue to linger, seeking resolution.

When a woman looks for her husband, she unconsciously looks for the man who will fulfill the unfulfilled wants of her childhood. She wants a man who will be there for her and love her unconditionally – just like her mother. Someone who will understand them better than they do, guess their mood and desires, care for them, stroke their back, and bring them a warm drink to bed—someone who will protect them from the outside world and reassure them with the right words. Someone who will tell them what dress doesn’t make her look fat and what shoes will go better with it. Someone who will guess what to get her for a holiday and not ask stupid questions or offer money. Someone who will love her friends and adore her mother. Someone who will spend all her evenings with her and have similar interests. Someone who would dream of spending weekends as a family only and not be distracted by silly men’s games.

A confused woman will do only one thing: accuse you of not wanting to understand her and cry because you are a male. He is clever; deep down, she believes that her partner will discover the answer on his own and assist her in unraveling it. She uses an invisible shovel to begin digging a genuine hole in her relationship at this time. It is a bottomless pit that will never be filled. You are being emotionally blackmailed.

A woman wants a man who will love her unconditionally, but she also wants a man who will challenge her and keep her on her toes. It’s a tall order, but it is possible to find a man who meets both criteria.

So, keep this in mind if you’re a girl looking for a husband. You’re not looking for someone like your father – you’re looking for someone like your mother. And if you can find a man who is like your mother, but also nothing like your father, you will have found the perfect husband.
