Dear Strong Girl,
I know you’re hurting. I see the pain in your eyes and how you try to hide it from the world. You are strong, but you’re also broken inside. You’ve been through so much, but you continue to fight. You get up daily and put on a brave face for the world. But no one knows what happens when you close your eyes at night.

You are fighting a battle that no one else knows about. A struggle that rips your heart apart every day. But you choose to remain silent because that is what strong girls do. They don’t show their weakness to the world. And I want you to know that you are not alone.
You are strong and can get through anything life throws at you. You’ve been through so much already, and you’re still standing. So don’t give up. Don’t let the pain win. You are more than your pain. You are a strong girl who has been through a lot and will make it through this too. I believe in you.
You can cry half the night. Your mind makes you think that, in reality, your life is an illusion and you are weak. Your brain plays games with you. You fall asleep, exhausted when you can’t think anymore.
When you wake up, you spring out of bed as if nothing had occurred the night before. You put on your favorite clothes and a grin that everyone knows, and you depart to work. When you see your pals, you pretend like everything is normal.
They begin to discuss their difficulties. You pay attention to them. Please make an effort to comprehend what they’re saying. Offer them the most excellent assistance possible. Assist them in overcoming difficult situations. But you decide not to talk about the hurt in your soul any longer.
The problem is that strong individuals are, in fact, the most fragile because no one is naturally strong due to the world around us and the issues we face.
When your worries and difficulties get the best of you, you find a way to cancel your plans. You only do it, so others don’t see you in such a state. You avoid posting sad music or quotations on social media for this reason. Oh no, that would raise people’s concerns about whether you’re okay.

You enjoy art because it’s a great way to relax. You see yourself in that favorite book you’ve read numerous times. And every time you read it, you feel as if you’re not alone anymore since someone else felt the same way. You find comfort in music, which helps you forget your problems for a while. Whenever you need someone to talk to, don’t hesitate to reach out to me. I’ll be here, waiting.
Be aware that you’re the one playing games with yourself. And it would help if you recognized that your thoughts are your most potent adversary. They make you feel insignificant and useless. They prevent you from seeing the accurate picture. Perhaps you despise the idea that people see you as the most muscular woman they know when you haven’t seen yourself in that way before. You’ve only ever viewed a person faking her life and feelings in the mirror.
The truth is that you’re not alone. Start seeing yourself as the strong woman that you are. Don’t be afraid to show your vulnerability. It’s okay to be weak sometimes because it makes you human. And it’s okay to need help.
That’s a challenging task. However, you’ve accomplished it! You’re a fighter who keeps getting back up after every failure. Even though you’ve seen how difficult life can be, you’ve maintained your tenacity and willpower to live. What could be more convincing than that?
Sincerely,
Someone who sees you.
